Free Post 2: My favorite OSTs

 

Hey there, dear students :3

How have you been? Are you good inviernistas and enjoying the rainy season? Or are you like me, good veranistas, and suffering from the cold season? Anyways, I hope that you are doing fine in your houses 😊

Yesterday I was watching one of my favorite movies from all times: Pride and Prejudice. I know, I know, it’s a corny love story. But there’s something about watching two people from different social and economic background who, fighting their own instincts and people’s prejudice, are able to fall in love with each other. I really love the 2005 version of this novel. Not only because of Keira Knightley's outstanding performance and the beautiful landscapes portrayed in the movie, but also because its Original Sound Track (OST) is amazing. While I am doing my power points for the classes, I commonly listen to this OST and focus on my tasks rather than getting distracted by the music. It’s quite useful for studying so you should check it out 😉

Another OST that I really enjoy listening to while doing my house chores is the Steven Universe The Movie’s OST. The movie itself is so fun yet mature, even though its target audience is children. And the songs are so emotive and catchy and, suddenly, they become dark and depressing. Rebecca Sugar, the creator of the TV series, is a god damned genius! If you are into cartoons, this could suit your tastes

Here we are in the future ~

Finally, my ultimate favorite OST is from Interestellar. Whenever I feel like I’m having an existential crisis (and trust me, that happens quite often hehe), I tend to listen to this OST and try to keep calm. There are moments when everything is silent and, all of the sudden, we have such beautiful sounds that try to resemble the personal struggles of the Endurance’s space crew.

    I love Steven universe, on vacation, with my little cousin we saw him every day and I always remember his song (although I don’t know why I know many cartoon songs) haha

    Hi teacher! I think one of my favourites OST's is the one from the movie "Into the Wild" done by Eddie Vedder. It is amaizing and I really love it, it calms me down and I really enjoy it :)

    My sister recently told me the movie of Steven Universe was great and after reading your blog, I asked her about the music of steven universe and she told me that all the cartoon has nice music and full of feeling! haha. But, personally I like more soundtracks of videogames haha like "Bastion"

    Will you believe that I have not seen any of those movies? I've heard a lot of Orgullo y Prejuicio, and I like romantic movies, I´ll see yes or yes!

    Woah, I saw Pride and Prejudice, it's really cute, I really like that movie. My favorite ost is Everytime of the dorama "Descendants of the sun", it's beautiful, ah! and Neverending Story of the dorama "Extraordinary you" (I really love that ost because its lyrics are beautiful and the melody is the same).

    hello teacher! I've been super good as a inviernista, haha. I love the rainy season. On the other hand, the truth is that I have never paid attention to the OST of the movies that you mention, but now I am sure that I will listen to them because my curiosity wins me over, haha. My favorite OST is from the movie The Greatest Showman because the songs express a variety of feelings that touch my heart, especially the song "A Million Dreams". I recommend it!

    hi miss, i consider myself a "primaverista" maybe jeje , so my favourites OST comes from Euphoria series, fast and furious 5 movie and sense8 series. and regarding stven universe series I have never focused on your OST , now i will listen

    When I was reading the part of steven universe, I remembered when the song "stronger than you" was stuck in my mind for a very long time xD. And when I realized that the singer was Estelle, I thought that was mind-blowing

    Hi! I admit that I enjoy Proud and Prejuice too, and I like the OST of "Arrival", "Harry Potter" and maybe "Pirates of the Caribbean", every time I mention the name, in my head sounds the principal song and waves.

    Hello teacher! I hope you are enjoying (ha ha) the winter season, it's the best. I totally agree with you, the Interstellar OST is beautiful, totally, from start to finish. Even if I don't listen to OSTs to study, it must be very helpful for concentration.

    hi! I also think that the Interestellar OST is amazing! One of my favorite OSTs is from "Sherlock", composed by David Arnold and Michael Priece. I really like it, for a while, I couldn't get the main theme out of my mind haha

    I also love Pride and Prejudice! And yes, it's a corny story, but let's face it, we've all wanted a Mr. Darcy in our lives... xD!
    On the other hand, my favorite OST is the one from the movie Cinema Paradiso, have you heard it?

    I'm an inviernista and I love the rain but this year the winter isn't good for me. Anyway, Proud and prejuice is a very good movie, I had to read the book too

    Hello! I haven't seen any of the movies you mention, I've been looking for them and I think I'll see interest soon. One of my favorite OST is from the guardians of the galaxy movies, songs such as Come and get your love, Mr. Blue sky or Hokeed on a feeling.

    The truth is I never listen the music of movies or series :O Always after seen a movie someone tell me that music was really good and I don’t have idea because I never notice it! The only sound track I can notice and remember is from Harry Potter!

    I define myself as a “radical otoñista”. Falling leaves and north winds are my favorite part of the year, when it’s not so cold and not so warm.
    If I have to choose a OST from series or movies of past years I definitively would choose the one from “Dark”. A German production of Netflix, some songs are tenebrous, and I just skip them, but there are others that puts me in a mood of productivity and concentration.

    I absolutely adore the Steven Universe Movie OST! Me and my younger sister are fans of the series so when the movie came out we saw it inmediately! That OST as been my go-to when I shower since the movie came out, my favorite song it's Other Friends, I love the animation in that part of the movie

    Hi miss! I´m a veranista just like you and I´m soffering with this extreme cold, I can't get out of the bed!! and my warm up bed is on all day and all night): I think the electric bill is going to be huge): This weather depresses me.
    I had not watch Pride and prejudice because I want to read the book first, I´m hoping to have the enough many soon to buy the book):

    My favorite OST is from Monsters Inc, I know it could be a little childish but it is very fun music and it reminds me of my times as a little boy. I do not listen to it when I am working on my school stuff but that's because I´ve never tried it before, maybe it is my new thing to do.

Good evening, dear students! Last week was an awesome week, I didn’t do many classes and every classes were quite funny. Blog 7 - Free/Themed Topic

Hey there, dear students! We are getting closer to the end of the semester! It’s the final countdown piririiiin ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jK-NcRmVcw ) I hope that you ace this end of semester 😊 In today’s topic, I am going to talk about one of my favorite painters. As I mentioned in my former posts, I am interested in pursuing another career as a plastic artist. Although I have not made any attempt to acquire any type of skills, I am very fond of going to art museums and art galleries. When I was a high school student, there was a final project for the arts subject: You had to paint something in one of the walls of the Arts’ classroom as a personal memento. I know it was a little bit narcissistic, but I wanted my painting to survive throughout the years. With that in mind, I searched for a painter that would mean something for this school and I came across with Roberto Matta.
